Captain Planet and the Planeteers is a classic 2D action game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) back in 1991. The game was loosely based on the environmentalist animated television show of the same name in the early nineties. This NES version of the game features a total of five levels – each divided into two different stage: the first stage involves the teen called Planeteers as they fly their Eco-jet towards the enemy fortresses. The second stage involves the powerful Captain Planet himself as he fights his way against various ecovillains.
